Refund Policy - the basics

We appreciate your interest in purchasing original artworks and fine art prints from Kassie Penaranda Art Studio. As each piece is either handcrafted or made to order, we have created the following Refund Policy to clarify when and how refunds may be granted.

1. All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of fine art — particularly original pieces and custom commissions — all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged (see section 2 below).

2. Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 2 days of delivery at Penkassie@gmail.com with the following:

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photographs of the item and packaging

Once your request is reviewed and approved, you may be eligible for:

  • A replacement (if applicable)

  • A store credit, or

  • A full or partial refund

Note: Claims submitted after the stated time window or without sufficient documentation may not be eligible for a refund.

3. Commissioned Artwork

Commissioned or custom-made artwork is created specifically for you and therefore is non-refundable once work has commenced. A non-refundable deposit may be required to begin a commission.

We work closely with our clients throughout the commission process to ensure satisfaction. However, because of the personalized nature of the work, returns and refunds are not accepted after the piece is completed and delivered, except in cases of significant damage during shipping.

4. Lost or Missing Packages

If a package is lost in transit and tracking does not show successful delivery, please contact us within 7-10 business days. We will work with the shipping provider to locate the package or, if confirmed lost, provide a replacement or refund.

We are not responsible for packages marked as “delivered” by the shipping carrier. If your package was delivered but you did not receive it, please contact your local carrier or postal service.

5. Return Shipping (if applicable)

If a return is approved (e.g., in the case of damage), you may be asked to return the item. Return shipping instructions will be provided, and in most cases, we will cover the cost of return shipping. Items must be returned in their original packaging, if possible.
